Welcome to Precious Angels Academy, LLC

My name is Lavonia Brown and I would like to welcome you to Precious Angels Academy. Because childcare is such a personal business, I wanted to provide you with additional personal information about my program and myself. Anyone who knows me well, can see how much I love working with children. As you get to know me, I am sure you find, that I am also a very ethical person with high moral standards. I get a blessing out of watching children grow and succeed. This is why I have chosen to provide quality childcare as a profession.

I had always known I was destined to teach children. I just didn't know in what capacity until I discovered Early Childhood Education. After working in the summer of 1992 as a teacher’s assistant, at Rainbow Park Elementary School in Miami Florida. Fortunately, I had the opportunity to work under an outstanding teacher and role model. I realized that I  found my niche in life, so I went back to college to earn my ECE (Early Childhood Education) certificate and made Early Childhood Education my career. I became a teacher, and then the Program Director of a center. I eventually began Precious Angels Academy as a family childcare in September 2000 and expanded my entire home in 2006.
